Internship Field Experience

Image
The internship field experience was a valuable part of my B.Ed. training, as it provided practical exposure to real classroom situations. It helped me apply theoretical knowledge, understand student behavior, improve classroom management skills, and develop confidence in teaching. This experience played an important role in shaping my professional attitude and preparing me to become an effective and responsible teacher.  Through my internship field experience at Shri K. K. Naidu Higher Secondary School, Coimbatore, I gained a clear understanding of the school system, curriculum implementation, and the responsibilities of a teacher. Regular interaction with students helped me understand their learning needs, behaviour, and individual differences. The guidance and constructive feedback given by the experienced teachers of the school played an important role in improving my teaching strategies and classroom management skills. Overall, this internship helped me bridge the gap bet...

This certification highlights my commitment to lifelong learning and professional advancement. I am glad to have participated in the Anti-Drug Online Quiz organized by the Anti-Drug Club of PPG College of Education. This initiative helped me gain awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and reinforced the importance of promoting a healthy, drug-free society. Psychology Experiments

Image
As part of my B.Ed. training, I carried out a few psychology-based activities that gave me practical exposure to student learning behaviour. One activity focused on attention and memory, where it was observed that learners remember concepts more clearly when their concentration is not interrupted. Another activity highlighted the impact of colours in learning, showing that students respond better to lessons supported with bright and attractive materials rather than dull ones. We also examined reaction time by comparing responses to sound and visual signals, and it was found that learners react more quickly to auditory stimuli. These experiences helped me understand the significance of focus, sensory stimulation, and visual support in the teaching–learning process. Through these experiments, I gained a deeper understanding of learner psychology, which will help me plan more effective classroom strategies.

CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE

My B.Ed classroom experience has been an enriching and transformative journey. It commenced with the Induction Programme on 07.10.2024, where we were familiarized with the institution, academic rules, facilities, and expectations. This programme helped me adjust smoothly and begin my course with clarity and confidence. The Bridge Course conducted from 14.10.2024 to 16.10.2024 strengthened our academic foundation through well-structured sessions on stress management, time management, communication skills, and gender sensitization. These sessions effectively prepared us to meet the challenges of the B.Ed curriculum. A major highlight of my learning experience was the Microteaching sessions held from 17.10.2024 to 08.11.2024. Practicing teaching skills in a simulated classroom setting allowed me to plan lessons, present them effectively, and receive constructive feedback. This phase significantly improved my teaching methodology, classroom control, and self-confidence. Active partici...
